Canakrn's own community tournament, hosted with NorQuest College Esports, bringing 180 competitors from across Western Canada together for a weekend of platform and fighting game brackets.
Hosted in partnership with NorQuest College and its esports program, Canakup is Canakrn’s community-focused tournament. The 2023 edition brought 180 competitors from across Western Canada to the NorQuest atrium for two days of platform and fighting game brackets, live commentary and free play between sets.
Canakup is where Canakrn’s grassroots roots show most clearly: a weekend built by players, for players, with the production quality of a much larger event.
